Everything feels huge in the Valley of the Gods. The towering rock formations, the open desert, and especially the sky. Above this Utah landscape, the Milky Way stretches into the darkness with layers of detail that seem to go on forever.
Standing out there, I was amazed by how much of the land I could still see beneath the stars. The rock formations felt enormous around me, yet small beneath that endless sky. It’s a place that makes you pause and realize just how small you are, too.
Point to Ancient Skies captures that feeling of wonder. Some places are hard to explain until you’re standing there yourself. Through this photograph, I hope to bring a little of that experience into your home, a reminder to slow down, look up, and take it all in.
