There are some moments you don’t plan perfectly, you just show up for.
A hike with a friend up Dana Peak in Texas turned into one of those nights. The clouds made it difficult, moving in and out, never fully clearing. For a few brief moments, the Pink Moon broke through just enough, glowing softly against the last light of blue hour.
It didn’t last long. But it didn’t need to.
This image holds that in-between moment. When the day is letting go, the night is settling in, and for just a second, everything feels still.
