A darker, more intimate view of Grand Falls, where the river moves through the rocks before spilling over the wide limestone ledge. Deep shadows, soft rushing water, and the strength of the current bring a dramatic mood to a place that has always been close to home.
Even growing up near Joplin, I never photographed Grand Falls as often as I should have. Coming back with my camera reminded me that familiar places can still hold something new when you slow down long enough to see them.
