I love evenings when the sky does all the work. I went out hoping for a good sunset, but the cannon silhouetted against that incredible color made the scene even better. There was something peaceful about standing there, watching the last light settle over a place filled with so much history.
Sometimes it’s worth staying just a little longer to see what the sky will give you.
